Shopkeeper Vishwanath Ghosh tells that Ghevar is made here by expert artisans from Bhagalpur who have learned the art of making Ghevar in Rajasthan. Ghevar is served with cream and dry fruits. Which has a different pleasure in eating. If we talk about the price, pure ghee ghevar is available at the rate of Rs 500 per kg while refined ghevar is available at the rate of Rs 260 per kg.

Artisan Pankaj Singh says that he learned to make special sweets of Rajasthan from Udaipur, Rajasthan. Now in this sweet shop in Katihar, he has been making Rajasthani Ghevar for many years, which is very much liked by the customers.

He tells that flour and milk are mixed in hot ghee and refined and then filtered in an Ekfarma. After that it is dipped in hot sweet juice and taken out. Then on the demand of customers it is served with cream and dry fruits. He says that even if it is a famous food of Rajasthan. But now people like it a lot in Katihar of Bihar also.
